Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WWChat ("Service"). By registering for the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Service — WWChat mobile application and related web services
- User — an individual registered with the Service
- Content — messages, media files, channel posts, and other materials
- Channel — a public or private page for publishing content
- Music Content — audio files uploaded by the User to their personal library or broadcast through radio stations
- Radio Station — a Service feature that allows Users to create online audio broadcasts
- AI Assistant — an artificial intelligence feature within the Service that processes user queries and provides responses
- Cloud Storage Integration — a connection between the Service and third-party cloud storage services (Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive) authorized by the User
2. Registration and Account
- Registration with email and password is required to use the Service
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- Each user may have only one account
- We recommend enabling two-factor authentication to protect your account
3. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you must not:
- Distribute spam, malware, or unwanted advertising
- Publish content that violates laws or third-party rights
- Impersonate another user or organization
- Use the Service for fraud or illegal activities
- Disrupt the Service through technical means
- Distribute threats, harassment, or extremist materials
4. User Content
- You retain rights to content you create
- By publishing content, you grant the Service the right to store and transmit it
- We are not responsible for user-generated content
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms
5. Music Content and Radio Stations
The Service allows you to upload audio files to your personal library and create radio stations to broadcast music:
- Rights Warranty. By uploading audio files to the Service, you warrant that you are the copyright holder of such content or that you possess all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for its upload, storage, and playback
- User Responsibility. You bear full responsibility for any copyright or related rights infringement associated with content you upload. The Service does not verify the legality of uploaded materials
- Platform Role. The Service acts as a technical intermediary providing infrastructure for the storage and transmission of user content. The Service does not perform pre-moderation of uploaded audio files and is not responsible for their content
- Public Broadcasting. By creating a radio station and starting a broadcast, you confirm that you have the right to publicly perform the broadcast content
- Prohibited Content. It is prohibited to upload and broadcast content that infringes copyrights, contains illegal materials, or materials promoting violence and extremism
6. Copyright Infringement Claims (Safe Harbor / DMCA)
The Service respects intellectual property rights and acts in accordance with applicable copyright protection laws:
- Filing a Claim. If you believe your copyright has been infringed by content hosted on the Service, you may submit a notice to copyright@wwchat.org including: a description of the copyrighted work; a link to the infringing content; your contact information; a statement of good faith
- Prompt Response. We commit to reviewing the notice and taking action (including blocking or removing the disputed content) within a reasonable time after receiving a properly formatted claim
- User Notification. The user whose content is the subject of a claim will be notified of the received notice and given an opportunity to submit a counter-notification
- Repeat Infringers. Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights may be suspended or terminated
7. AI Assistant
The Service provides an AI Assistant feature that uses artificial intelligence to process your queries:
- AI-generated responses are provided for informational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies
- You should not rely on AI responses as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated information before acting on it
- The Service is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated responses
8. Cloud Storage Integrations
The Service allows you to connect third-party cloud storage services (Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive) to use your documents as context for the AI Assistant:
- Cloud storage integrations are entirely optional and require your explicit authorization
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share connected documents with the Service
- You must not use the integration to process documents containing sensitive personal data of third parties without their consent
- The Service accesses only the documents you explicitly select — not your entire cloud storage
- You may disconnect any cloud storage integration at any time through the Service settings
- The Service uses the following access permissions (OAuth scopes): read-only access to files you select — we never modify, delete, or create files in your cloud storage
9. Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
- We are not liable for Service interruptions
- We are not liable for user actions
- Maximum liability is limited to amounts you paid for the Service
10. Account Suspension and Deletion
- We may restrict account access for Terms violations
- You may delete your account by contacting support
- Upon account deletion, your data will be removed per the Privacy Policy
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms. By continuing to use the Service after changes are published, you accept the updated Terms.
